German Language Classes in London

Learn German in London with Imperial after:hours. Our German language classes are open to adults from complete beginner to upper intermediate level, with evening courses designed to fit around work and other commitments.

Classes are taught in a friendly and supportive environment by experienced German language tutors who also teach on Imperial College London’s undergraduate language programme. Our courses develop practical skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing, with a particular emphasis on building confidence in everyday communication.

As your German develops, you will broaden your vocabulary, strengthen your understanding of grammar and become increasingly confident discussing a wider range of subjects. Courses also introduce aspects of the cultures and societies of German-speaking countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Our German evening classes take place at Imperial College London in South Kensington, with courses running across a range of levels during the academic year.

No previous experience is needed for our beginner courses, and you do not need to be an Imperial student or member of staff to enrol.
