Imperial’s Central Hub for Health Economic Evaluation
Economic evaluation is now a critical component of high-impact health research. With funders increasingly requiring cost-effectiveness assessments for proposed technologies and interventions, the ability to generate robust economic evidence is vital for securing competitive grants.
In response to growing demand across Imperial College London, Imperial Health Economic Evaluation (IHEE) was established in 2025 as a joint initiative between Imperial Business School and the Faculty of Medicine. IHEE provides a central resource to support health researchers in designing and delivering high-quality economic evaluations.
Our mission is to:
- Strengthen funding applications by embedding cost-effectiveness analysis from the outset
- Collaborate on research projects requiring economic modelling and impact assessment
- Build internal capacity through training, mentoring, and strategic partnerships
- Improve value for money by reducing reliance on external consultancy services
IHEE brings together leading academic expertise to support grant development, deliver commissioned evaluations, and establish Imperial as a leader in health economics.
We welcome collaborations from across faculties, departments, institutes, and research centres.
