Mikolaj received his BSc degree in Control and Robotics from Warsaw University of Technology in 2016 and MSc in Control Systems from Imperial College London in 2018. Currently he is a PhD student at Intelligent Systems and Networks Group, under the supervision of Dr. Krystian Mikolajczyk and Dr. Deniz Gunduz. His main research areas are Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing and Information Theory. He is currently working on image compression optimized for various retrieval tasks.
