The Jameel Institute is an institute within Imperial's world-class School of Public Health in the College's renowned Faculty of Medicine. Founded by Imperial College London and Community Jameel in October 2019, the Jameel Institute’s mission is to combat disease threats worldwide.

Our annual report is now live!
This year has given the institute the opportunity to look beyond the pandemic and to start to broaden our activities and scope. Some highlights include:
- Announcing the Jameel Institute-Kenneth C. Griffin Initiative for the Economics of Pandemic Preparedness, led by Prof Katharina Hauck
- Continuing to provide real time modelling support to policymakers for COVID-19 and other outbreaks, such as Monkeypox, Ebola and cholera as well as other endemic diseases including tuberculosis (TB). Thanks to Dr Anne cori, Dr Thomas Rawson and Prof Nim Pathy
