Brillouin imaging

Peter Török's group

Welcome to Peter Török's group pages

The group has moved.

Peter Török is now based at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. You can view Peter's NTU profile here.

Research direction

Brillouin imaging

non-contact and non-invasive imaging technique for mapping elasticity of tissues with submicron resolution.

More information

Electromagnetic theory

for a range of phenomena ranging from metamaterials and astrophysical manifestations of negative refractive index to radiometry, coherence theory, optical encoders and microscopy.

More information

Quantitative phase imaging

point-by point mapping of the refractive index contrast with submicron resolution.

More information

research directions

Polarisation sensitive imaging

natural fusion of existing imaging techniques with polarisation based measurements.

More information

Compressive sensing

developing novel techniques that efficiently harness information carried by scattered photons for imaging at greater depths.

More information

Nanoplasmonics

harnessing random interference of surface plasmons and local fields near plasmonic nanostructures for bio-analysis and microscopy beyond the diffraction limit
