Current Projects include both field and laboratory based work. The research group is currently working on fault-related dolomitisation in Oman/Spain, sedimentologic heterogeneities in Jurassic carbonate reservoirs of the UAE (previous worked focused on the Cretaceous in Oman), sedimentologic heterogeneities and fracture analysis of anhydrite (a common seal in the middle east). In our Qatar Stable Isotope Laboratory work is progressing on the thermal history of sedimentary basins by coupling clumped isotopes and radiogenic isotopes.
