    Professor Paul Elliott Principal Investigator and Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics

    About

    Professor Paul Elliott, FRS trained in clinical medicine and epidemiology as a Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow at St Mary's Hospital London and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He was appointed Chair in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine at Imperial College London in 1995. He now leads the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, which has grown to support a broad programme of health research and collaborations. He also directs the MRC Centre for Environment and Health, including the UK Small Area Health Statistics Unit (SAHSU). In addition, he is an honorary consultant in public health medicine at the Imperial College NHS Trust. 

  • Professor Mireille B Toledano

    Professor Mireille B Toledano Co-Principal Investigator and Director of the Mohn Centre for Children's Health and Wellbeing

    About

    Professor Mireille Toledano is an investigator of the MRCCentre for Environment and Health specialising in environmental and spatial epidemiology. She has over 20 years of experience in environmental epidemiology, with a particular focus on radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF).  Mireille is the Mohn Chair in Population Child Health and serves as the Director of the Mohn Centre for Children’s Health and Wellbeing. She is also an active member of several influential committees, including the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE), the Committee on Toxicity (COT), and a sub-group of the Committee on Medical Effects of Air Pollution (COMEAP). Additionally, she has contributed to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) review of evidence on reproductive effects related to RF exposure.

    Dr David Muller Co-Investigator and Senior Lecturer in Cancer Epidemiology and Biostatistics

    About

    Dr Muller's research focuses on identifying and characterising environmental and genetic risk factors for cancer. He primarily utilizes data from large prospective cohort studies, including the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) cohort, where he chairs the renal cancer working group. He is also actively involved in international collaborations, such as the US National Cancer Institute Cohort Consortium. 

  • Professor Helen Ward

    Professor Helen Ward Professor of Public Health

    About

    Professor Helen Ward is Clinical Professor of Public Health and leads the Imperial NIHR BRC Patient Experience Research Centre. She has championed participatory approaches that involve and engage patients and the wider public in health research. She has worked closely with Professor Elliott on the REACT and Airwave programmes, with Professor Toledano on SCAMP and takes the lead for UK COSMOS on Public and Population Involvement and Engagement (PPIE). 

  • Professor Adam Hampshire

    Professor Adam Hampshire Visiting Professor

    About

    Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience at Kings College London  and a leading expert in digitally enabled cognitive testing. He developed the Cognitron suite of on-line cognitive tests that have been completed by hundreds of thousands of people nationally including in the REACT Long COVID research programme, working with Professors Elliott and Ward.
