Olga ElisseevaOlga joined Shell Amsterdam in June 2014 as a researcher in the Materials and Corrosion IR&D group.

The current projects she is working on are focused on polymeric and composite pipes, predictability of performance of polymeric pipes in service; composite materials for different applications, e.g. LNG fuel tanks and coatings for different applications.

Her current expertise is a result of activities in different industrial and university sectors such as ASML, M2i, NXP, Fokker Aerostructures, Moscow University, TU Delft and Wageningen University.

Most of these activities are focused on the surface of metals or polymeric materials: corrosion protection of metals, corrosion mechanisms in plastic encapsulated devices, polymeric coatings, anodizing, surface treatment, surface characterizations, aqueous polymeric films.
