Welcome to the Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) at St Mary’s Hospital, London

The study teams at the Clinical Trials Centre are leading world class research into HIV and AIDS in both young people and adults. We investigate treatment, prevention and cure strategies and novel technologies in large multi-centre randomised controlled trials as well as observational and qualitative studies.

About us

The Clinical Trials Centre at St Mary’s Hospital has been facilitating leading research into HIV and AIDS for over 30 years. The unit initially opened in June 1991 with financial support from the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and the Jefferiss Research Trust.
