The Molecular Sciences Research Hub (MSRH) is a state-of-the-art facility for chemical and molecular sciences. It is the home for much of Imperial’s Department of Chemistry.

At the Molecular Sciences Research Hub, scientists work on cutting-edge research in areas like drug discovery, sustainable chemistry, materials science, and clean energy solutions. The hub also plays a crucial role in translating research into real-world applications, partnering with industry leaders and startups to develop new technologies.

Since the opening of the Molecular Sciences Research Hub in 2018, it has welcomed more than 800 scientists, clinicians, engineers and commercial partners to collaborate on groundbreaking research and innovation.

The building features flexible laboratory spaces, unique analytical equipment and facilities, and communal areas that support collaboration and interdisciplinary work. The  Molecular Sciences Research Hub Café and Common Room provides a social space for students and researchers to connect.
