The fourth annual Sowerby eHealth Symposium will be held at the BMA House in Central London from 8:30am – 1:00pm on Thursday 12th October 2017. Chaired by Professor the Lord Ara Darzi, and building on previous successful symposia, the conference will discuss the digital transformation of the NHS, exploring the practical challenges that lay ahead as we seek to embed innovative technology in healthcare. As these efforts are maturing and scaling up across the country, we invite submissions from academics, innovators, patients, practitioners, and partners who are able to describe their experience on the digital transformation of health care and its benefits and challenges. We consider benefits first from the patient perspective, including better outcomes and better experience with care. We welcome submissions focused on any use case, but would particularly encourage those who have experience in the below areas to share their experience for the benefit of others on the same journey:
We hope the symposium will promote your work and provide a platform for a deeper debate and better understanding of the digital transformation of NHS from the perspective of the patient, clinician and policymaker.
