We’ve been working hard kitting out the brand new Imperial Makerspace at The Invention Rooms in White City.
What is a Makerspace you may ask? Well it’s a space with lots of different equipment and materials where you can come and make things from 3D printing and robots to sewing clothes and woodworking – the limit is your imagination.
We’ll be starting a programme of activities for local school students in September but before then we’d love to welcome the community into the space to see what it’s all about and have a go with some of our equipment.
This session is completely free but spaces are limited so you need to register for your free ticket.
Because of the nature of some of the equipment this event is strictly for ages 12 and up (any under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).
