Data Collection & Analysis for Cyber Security
A successful network defense strategy necessarily involves the collection and analysis of a wide variety of data, both from hosts (i.e., workstations and servers) and the network itself. In this talk, Curt will provide an overview of the collection and processing of some key data sources and I will discuss how they can be used to detect adversaries at the various stages of an attack scenario.
