Abstract
Genomics England is delivering the 100,000 Genomes project (100KGP), a program of innovation and transformation dedicated to bringing whole genome sequencing into routine clinical practice in the NHS across England and kick-starting the UK genomics industry. The Genomics England Clinical Interpretation Partnership (GECIP) is the mechanisms through which clinicians and academics can add value to the 100KGP knowledge base through application of expert insights to the data and research utilising the data and sample resources.
Clare Turnbull, Clinical Lead for the Genomics England Cancer Programme, will give an overview of GEL, GECIP, 100KGP and answer questions on how researchers can harness the rich opportunities for translational genomic research offered by this programme.
