Abstract: We present a construction of the infinite dimensional diffusion associated with an operator corresponding to the Lie algebra generated by the Heisenberg group. Specifically we show that the sequence of approximating finite dimensional problems has a weak limit in the suitable space and that the limit solves the martingale problem for reasonable class of functions. If time permits, we indicate how to analyze long time behavior of the model.
