It is with great pleasure that we announce that the 6th International Workshop on ‘Cardiac Mechano-Electric Interactions and Arrhythmias’ will be held at Oxford, 12-15 September 2013.
The 2013 meeting will follow the established 3.5 day format, with the addition of a pre-workshop ‘careers afternoon’ for trainees and junior post-docs. For details please click here.
Registration will open on 1 January 2013. Building on the momentum of this workshop series (see the ‘Beating Heart‘ Issue of Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology , which will have a cover date of October 2012), we are delighted to have received our first sponsorship commitments, including support of the keynote lecture from Professor Roger Kamm from the BHF Centre of Research Excellence at Imperial College. Several other organisations are currently considering supporting this event, and we therefore anticipate being able to maintain trainee registration fees unchanged for the second time in a row (i.e. at the 2007/2010 level). More detail to follow in December.
