Imperial Business School’s Health and Care Infrastructure Research and Innovation Centre (HaCIRIC) presents a conference with more than 25 new research presentations plus top level speakers looking at the UK, European and Welsh perspectives of how infrastructural and service innovation can deliver higher quality, more cost-effective healthcare in this age of austerity.

The conference will be opened by Jan Williams OBE, recently appointed chair of NHS Wales’ new healthcare innovations agency. Professor Terry Young of the Cumberland Initiative and Imperial’s Professor James Barlow will provide the UK picture while new thinking from Europe will come from Steve Wright, Executive Director, European Centre for Health Assets and Architecture.

An NHS Wales team will join with leading HaCIRIC researchers for a special afternoon workshop drawing Welsh challenges and learning on the big healthcare issues together with findings from HaCIRIC’s research programme.

The full conference programme and registration form can be downloaded on the HaCIRIC website.
