Summary                         

The talk will cover the five ‘natural laws of sustainability’ and associated ‘commitments’ required to resolve global climate change, rising social inequity, and many other individual and social issues. In “From Me to We” Bob Doppelt has combined his expertise in psychology and ecology to describe the transformations required by each of us personally, each organization, and society as a whole to resolve the climate emergency and many other of today’s crises.

 

Biography                         

Bob Doppelt directs The Resource Innovation Group (www.theresourceinnovationgroup.org), a global climate change and sustainability education, research, and technical assistance program affiliated with the Center for Sustainable Communities at Willamette University in Oregon, USA, where he is a Senior Fellow. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Planning, Public Policy, and Management at the University of Oregon. He is trained as a counseling psychologist and environmental scientist and have combined the two fields throughout his career. His expertise is in systems dynamics and change.
