On 9th July 2012, Dr Mitesh Patel, from Imperial College London, presented to a group of Year 13 students at Camden Girls School.
Dr Patel is a research fellow in the High Energy Physics Group at Imperial College London. The work of the High Energy Physics group investigates the fundamental particles and the forces between them. Experiments are underway at the major particle physics laboratories in Europe, the USA and Japan.
Dr Mitesh Patel’s presentation gave the students an introduction to particle physics. The Year 13 students were extremely interested in this topic and had the chance to ask Dr Patel questions about his work.
