Abstract
The symposium will bring together researchers at all levels who are interested in the fields of Systems and Synthetic Biology to inform and inspire them about these emerging areas of research.
The programme includes talks on technologies and applications in both synthetic and systems biology and covers areas including RNA splicing, protein bioinformatics, heart muscle development and regeneration and construction of synthetic gene networks.
Attendance is free and open to everyone but please complete the registration form available online here by 2 November. There are 2 sessions for short talks by postgraduate students and junior researchers. Talks in these sessions will be selected on the basis of abstracts which should be submitted to Barbara Skene by email by 2 November. If your abstract is not selected for a talk, you are welcome to present a poster on your work. Please indicate on the registration form if you wish to present a talk or a poster.
