Objectives of the Study Tour
As a macro objective, the tour is intended to expose participants to the outlook for Brazil with its growing economy, the impact its growth will have on business, and the ways in which both large and small companies have made the most of the huge market potential this country has to offer.
The Study Tour will visit Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and will focus on some of the key sectors that have driven Brazil’s economic emergence and have positioned the country to take its place as a leading global economy.

China has been growing in importance on the world stage economically since before my MBA and I have long felt a desire to visit the country to understand its business culture and people better. The SARS health scare unfortunately scuppered my chance to go to China during my MBA, so when this privileged study tour opportunity came up, I jumped at it.
The introductory talk by David Gosset of China Europe International Business School was utterly compelling. I found it erudite, succinct, entertaining and powerfully insightful. I wouldn’t have missed that for any other part. He supercharged my understanding of China in three hours flat, effectively making seven days of learning seem like 14 days of learning.
