This professional development workshop in ‘Influencing and persuading people’ is being delivered by Centre4Learning. The content will be designed to match the specific needs of a maximum of 12 participants.

Course overview

We all have to deal with challenging situations at work – ones where we have to get what we want from others while maintaining our working relationships with those people at the same time. While we recognise that we need other people to achieve our goals at work, at the same time most of us feel vulnerable that other people might take advantage of us in the process.

Taking an ethical approach to influencing means that we have to protect our relationships with others while we achieve our work-based goals – and protecting our relationships means that we have to make sure our actions are always in line with our values.
