The Actuarial Profession has a reputation built around the expertise and specialism in areas that require mathematical rigour. Though not as well known as other professions, the work Actuaries do is impressive and it is also one of the most well-paid professions in the industry.

This Careers Fair and networking event will give you the opportunity to hear about the pathway to becoming an Actuary, and network with GAAPS Actuarial recruiters and the following Actuarial employers:

PwC, Hewitt Associates, Aon, Towers Watson, Mercer, E&Y, Hymans Robertson, Milliman, Legal & General, The Actuarial Profession, Barnett-Waddingham.

If you’re interested in a career in finance or one involving mathematics, the Actuarial Profession could be for you.

Becoming an Actuary

Actuarial employers recruit recent accomplished graduates (often with a background in mathematics) to become analysts, who may go on to become fully sponsored MSc Actuarial Finance students.  The Imperial MSc pathway gives students and employers the benefits of a faster qualifying time and graduation with a double qualification: an Imperial College MSc and exemptions from most UK professional Actuarial exams.
