Biography

Andrew Romans, General Partner of Founders Club will be delivering a talk at the Business School. Prior to The Founders Club, he was the Managing Partner at Georgetown Venture Partners (GVP), former non-exec on 15+ tech boards. He is also the Co-founder & President of The Global TeleExchange (The GTX), a 90-person (PSTN-VoIP) telecom minutes exchange, facilitated a $25 million vendor financing package with Lucent and raised additional cash funding of over $50M from VCs

The Founders Club
The Founders Club is a global venture capital vehicle where CEOs and founders of VC backed companies pool together a small percentage of their personal future equity upside in return for becoming Limited Partner “investors” in a ground breaking entrepreneur equity exchange portfolio.

The Founders club targets VC backed CEOs and founders in North America, Europe and Israel and accepts additional applications from China and India.

Internship Opportunities:

Interns will focus on:
Researching the best VC backed companies for our 3 different portfolios:
• Healthcare & Life Science (Biotech Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices,
Healthcare IT & Services)
• Technology & Cleantech (classic ITC, Mediatech & Environmentally friendly
technology)
• Later Stage Technology (all companies with revenues of at least $25M USD)

Inters can focus on research or get involved in direct cold calling to CEOs and join in meetings and conference calls with CEOs, founders and VCs.
One intern would be focused on building the pitch book and IM for a co-investment VC fund for The Founders Club to co-invest alongside VCs in North America, Europe and Israel.

Relevant experience: Venture Capital, Private Equity, corporate finance (fundraising & M&A for early stage tech deals), VC backed technology startups a plus. European language skills a plus: French, Spanish, German, Swedish.
