The purpose of this two-day event is to further the UK-IRC research agenda by discussing recent innovation research being under taken at Cambridge and Imperial. Both institutions draw upon a wealth of research material that spans many different parts of the innovation process and a host of important policy domains. By bringing together our research through a series of exchanges about recent working papers, it will be possible to see the potential to further our common interests.
The conference is structured around the presentation of 14 research papers at the formative or working paper stage selected from submissions by members of the CBR and I&E Group. A nominated discussant, as well as the audience, will discuss each paper. The idea is to improve the quality and impact of our research prior to its publication. There will also be a session on ‘Live Projects’ at the end of day two.
The conference is open all members of CBR and I&E Group.
Thematic sessions organised by submitted papers include:
- R&D and Open Innovation
- Management Practices and Design
- University and Industry Networks
- Venture Capital and Acquisitions
- Networks and Growth
If you would like to participate, please send your RSVP to Shelley Meehan: s.meehan@imperial.ac.uk detailing attendance at sessions on 11th and/or 12th June, the evening meal on 12th June and any dietary requirements.
