We are delighted to announce the launch of our first special interest group (SIG) for Business School Alumni. Please come along to the first meeting of the public sector special interest group
Join guest speaker, Jonathan Sedgwick (MBA 2001), Deputy Chief Executive of the new UK Border Agency for presentation on managing major organisation change. Using his recent experiences, Jonathan will discuss the practical challenges of integrating existing business fuctions to form a new organisation of 25,000 staff, while maintaining business as usual for those requiring services from the Agency.
There will be an opportunity to discuss topics you may wish to cover in future meetings, and a social reception to network with other alumni with an interest in the public sector.

18.15 – 18. 45: Presentation by Jonathan Sedgwick, followed by Q & A
18.45 – 19.00: Break out session
19.15 – 19.30: Carol Propper, Head of Healthcare Managment Group
19.30 – 19.45: Frank Smith (MBA 2001), SIG Co-ordinator lead discussion on future meeting topics
19.45 onwards: Networking reception
