The Office of Alumni and Development will be launching its annual alumni reunion programme for those who graduated in 1926, 1936, 1946, 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986 or 1996. – for Engineering, Life Sciences, Medicine, Physical Sciences, Humanities, Business School

The Office of Alumni and Development will be launching its annual alumni reunion programme on Saturday 16 September 2006 with an event at the South Kensington campus.

Alumni who graduated from any of Imperial’s departments (including Wye College and the former Medical Schools) any number of decades ago will be invited back to the College for a series of lectures, departmental and museums tours, as well a lunch and a farewell dinner. The event will provide the perfect opportunity to reunite with old classmates and friends, catch up on Imperial College news, and reminisce about your time at the College.

If you graduated in 1926, 1936, 1946, 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986 or 1996, we will be writing to you shortly with details of the reunion and a booking form. We hope that you will save the date and join us for what we hope will be a very special day!

If you did not graduate in one of the above years, but would be interested in attending this year’s reunion*, please contact Heather Campbell on 020 7594 6138 or by email on h.campbell@imperial.ac.uk to register that you would be interested in receiving a booking form.

For more information about the alumni reunion, please visit the dedicated website at www.imperial.ac.uk/alumni/reunions.

At this time, we are also looking for alumni to volunteer as class representatives, which means you would act as a link between the College and your former classmates. This could involve contacting your classmates to personally invite them to the reunion or organising a gathering for your classmates to supplement the main reunion activities.

If you are interesting in learning more about becoming a class representative, please contact Heather Campbell on 020 7594 6138 or by email on h.campbell@imperial.ac.uk.

* perhaps because you took a four-year course and the majority of your friends were on a three year course which finished in one of this year’s reunion years.

If you are a member of the City and Guilds College Association or the Royal School of Mines Association, you will be familiar with the annual Decade Reunion lunches. This event will take place as advertised on Saturday 25 November 2006. For further details, please visit www.imperial.ac.uk/engineering/about/alumni/events/ or contact t.sergot@imperial.ac.uk. We hope to see you at one or both of the reunion events!
