Join us for an alumni panel with former Imperial maths students sharing their career journeys after graduation. The event will be chaired by a current maths student, Vanessa Madu, and will include Q&A session for a chance to have a conversation around career options, challenges and successes. Both current and former Imperial maths students are welcome to attend.

The event aims to inspire, inform, and provide role models for current undergraduate and postgraduate students in the department. It has been organised based on requests from current students, to support the equality and diversity efforts in the department, and to raise the profile of opportunities for students of all backgrounds. All students are welcome to attend.

The panel will be relatively informal and will focus on career related advice. You will hear and learn from experienced alumni who studied Maths and are advancing in their careers. The event will last approximately one hour, 30 minutes panel discussion and 20 minutes Q&A.

Confirmed panellists:

Alex Mitcham (MSci Mathematics 2019) – Junior Streaming Data Analyst at Sony Music Entertainment

Djata Sigam (MSc Pure Mathematics 2015) – Business & Technical Consultant at Avaloq
