At this event in the ‘Great Minds’ conversation series, Imperial alumnus, Dr Winston Wong OBE (Physics 1971, MSc 1972, PhD Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology 1976) will join President Gast to talk about his career as one of Taiwan’s leading businessmen.
Dr Wong is a Taiwanese entrepreneur, scientist and philanthropist, and principal founder of the GRACE THW Group, a growing electronics and plastics conglomerate, where he has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1996. With his background in high-tech enterprise, producing environmentally friendly and high-performance materials, Dr Wong will share his expertise on topics of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Dr Wong is currently a Visiting Professor at Imperial’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering, specializing in semiconductor physics, and has sponsored the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology and Chair in Biomedical Circuits.
