Professor Jeff Saffitz is a world renowned cardiac pathologist who has been Head of Pathology at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard University and described the pathology of ARVC. His current work is focused on innate immune signaling in the pathogenesis of arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy and related syndromes.
Professor Saffitz will give a brief overview of inflammation and anti-inflammatory therapy in heart failure and then discuss recent studies.
