The New Scientists Day initiative was created as part of NHLI’s Athena SWAN Action Plan and career development strategy. The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for our newly appointed academics to start new collaborations and to meet colleagues within and outside of Imperial. It is also a chance for our newcomers to share their research with their new colleagues and for the whole department, staff and students alike, to get together and share ideas.
This year the event will be held on the 20th November at 13.00-18.00 in the Paul Wood Lecture Theatre, Guy Scadding Building, Royal Brompton Campus, SW3 6LY.
Break, tea, and coffee in Refectory with a drinks reception to follow after the event.
Interim Head of NHLI, Professor Clare Lloyd, will open the event.
