The Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI) would like to invite you to our Doctoral Spring Welcome event, which will be held at South Kensington Campus in March 2025. The event consists of introductory talks from ECRI representatives, Imperial College Union (ICU), and a Q&A session. This will be followed by refreshments and a chance for you to meet other students and visit Imperial Support Services stands.
During the talks, you will be given an overview of ECRI and our available initiatives, all of which are aimed at supporting you throughout your time here at Imperial. You will also hear directly from your Union representatives about what they have to offer and why it is vital for you to engage with them. The Q&A panel will have experienced Doctoral students within the second and third years of their studies who would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
This event is open to all Doctoral students but is primarily aimed at students who missed the October Welcome Event.

- 14:45-14:55 – Information about the Early Career Researcher Institute’s Provision from Dr Magdalena Jara (Principal Teaching Fellow, ECRI)
- 14:55-15:15 – Q&A Section (answered by members of staff and 2nd/3rd year doctoral students)
- 15:15-16:15 – Refreshments and Opportunity to Visit Imperial Support Stands
