World AIDS Day 2025 at School of Public Health – Crafting
Following the full display of the AIDS Quilt UK at the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall this summer, Imperial’s School of Public Health will host several panels of the AIDS Quilt UK around World AIDS Day 2025. Join a crafting session inspired by the Quilt on World AIDS Day 2025, 1 December at 11.00am. Materials will be available on the day, if preferred you are welcome to bring your own crafting projects and materials too.
Part of the largest community arts project in history, the AIDS Quilt UK helps us remember and celebrate all lives lost to HIV from the beginning of the pandemic in the 1980s to the present day. Each panel that makes up the Quilt is a beautiful and powerful work of art in its own right. To see them on public display is a deeply moving experience.
