College Evensong is sung by Imperial’s student Chamber Choir
The choir of Kings College London join our Imperial students to sing music by Kerensa Briggs, Edward Bainton and Charles Wood.The Responses are by David Trendell (1964 – 2014) Director of Music at KCL, and the psalm setting is by a current member of the choir.
It is an ancient pattern of evening prayer combining music, words, and silence to create a time for personal reflection and stillness (whatever your faith or worldview). The services regularly use music written by current students and women composers.
