College Evensong is sung by Imperial’s student Chamber Choir
This week’s Evensong explores the season of Advent preparing for Christmas, with anthems by Micheal Praetorius and Adrian Peacock, with music from Orlando Gibbon’s Short Service and a current member of the choir.
It is an ancient pattern of evening prayer combining music, words, and silence to create a time for personal reflection and stillness (whatever your faith or worldview). The services regularly use music written by current students and women composers.
