Journal Club: Agent Net Zero: LCA powered by AI

The Imperial Network of Excellence in Sustainability through Life Cycle Approaches will host Dr Wei Xing, who will deliver a demonstration of their tool.

Join us for a live demonstration of Agent Net Zero’s (ANZ) AI platform and watch AI agents autonomously (co-autonomously) conduct an LCA.

This working technology demonstration shows how months-long, expert LCA processes and decisions can be accelerated and enhanced by AI with automated conversations. We will conduct an actual carbon footprint assessment live during the session, revealing the AI’s reasoning process and database matching as it happens.

Dr. Wei Xing is Assistant Professor at the University of Sheffield with 15 years of international research experience in intelligent manufacturing and AI industrialization. His AI-driven tools have been adopted by DARPA projects and major tech companies. Recent work on LLM-based engineering optimization was named a top 10 finalist for the 2025 UK Manchester Prize. He holds a Ph.D. from University of Warwick and has published in top-tier venues including AAAI, NeurIPS, and ICCAD.

Please note attendance to the Journal Clubs are limited to around 20 people to ensure the quality of the discussions. If there are no open spaces you will be added to a waiting list and spaces allocated upon cancellations on a first come basis.
