The Department of Chemical Engineering is proud to host its annual Chemical Engineering Research Showcase!

This exciting event offers external partners and internal colleagues a valuable opportunity to come together for a day of engaging presentations, highlighting and exchanging insights on the latest world-leading research from across the Department.

Programme 

13.30 – 15.00: Research presentations by the groups of: 

  • Dr Anna Hankin: ‘Electrochemical pathways to a low-carbon future: From solar-driven hydrogen production to separation and recovery of critical materials’.

  • Professor Ronny Pini: ‘From pore to plant: accelerated design of adsorbents and processes for industrial gas separations’. 

  • Winner of the Wakeham Award (to be announced later) 

15.00 – 16.00: Refreshments | Poster session | Demos 

16.00 – 17.00: Invited lecture by Dr Gary Finka, Senior Director, CMC Knowledge Management, GSK R&D 

17.00 – 18.30Drinks & Awards Ceremony [incl. Wakeham Award] 

18.30  Dinner (by invite only)
