Would you like to participate in a musical/scientific experiment while enjoying a chamber music concert?
We are looking for people of different musical (and non-musical) backgrounds to act as an audience for a concert-experiment during which we measure the effect of different modes of musical expression while a string quartet is performing a concert.
The experiment aims to investigate listeners’ intuitive responses across the audience and how these are related to the mode of performance.
Audience members will be asked to wear a simple device around their neck that measures biometric information, including the monitoring of body motion while listening. The entire audience will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding their listening experience of the music.
