Bring your old, dirty and broken clothes to this workshop to give them a new life. In this textile upcycling workshop, learn traditional and freestyle techniques to mend and transform broken or discarded garments into unique wearable artworks. Transform a bag into a vest, old socks into a crop-top or towels into shorts. Bring one or a few specific garments to get individual feedback and technical ideas on how to upcycle your pieces.
This workshop is open to everyone working and studying at Imperial College.
It is free and open to all levels and abilities, so whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced artist you will find the tutor has something special to offer you. Come and explore.
