WE Inspire is a free half-day conference supporting female leadership and entrepreneurship. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network, hear the personal journeys of female entrepreneurs and leaders and take part in leadership training sessions. This conference is free for all women studying at Imperial or taking part in the Agents for Change programme or Maker Challenge.
You can look forward to:
– Opening remarks from Maggie Dallman (Associate Provost, Imperial College London)
– Riham Satti (Co-Founder & CEO, MeVitae) & Enass Abo-Hamed (Co-Founder & CEO, H2GO Power) sharing their personal journeys, the challenges they have overcome and how.
– Gemma Milne (Co-Founder Science Disrupt) sharing her perspective on what leadership is, the challenges of leadership and her practical tips for taking a leadership role.
– Business pitches and Q&A with WE Innovate Alumni: Olivia Ahn (Co-Founder Polipop) and Ana Luisa Neves (Co-Founder Momoby)
– Eleanor Harding (Product Designer, Twitter) talking through the importance of failure and how to cope and grow from it.
– Networking with London-based entrepreneurs and WE Innovate supporters.
This event celebrates 5 years of the WE Innovate programme, Imperial’s flagship female entrepreneurship education programme. Applicants for the WE Innovate programme are strongly encouraged to attend this conference. Apply for the WE Innovate programme
