THE AGRI FUTURES LAB NETWORK
The AFL’s mission is to support cross-disciplinary collaborations between leading Agri-science, Life science, Physical science, Business and Policy research groups across all faculties at Imperial College and to promote engagement with policy makers, industry and end-user stakeholders, which will help to provide a realistic and accurate problem-led pull for new technologies.
The AFL aims to:
- Provide opportunities to facilitate the development of high-impact multidisciplinary research targeted at one of the world’s grand challenges, Food Security;
- Stimulate the development of platform technologies and next-generation solutions for the agri-sciences addressing the needs of agri-tech industries;
- Showcase the cutting edge science and innovation at ICL and connect innovators with new academic and commercial partners.
