Collaborative doctoral projects

We actively welcome collaboration with industry through co-funded doctoral research projects. Organisations can propose project ideas aligned to their strategic priorities, with our team providing support throughout - from shaping the research scope to recruitment and advertising.

There are multiple ways to engage - industry partners may contribute funding, help define research challenges, and play an active role in supervision. 

Doctoral researchers appointed through this route join the Doctoral Programme for Sustainable Aviation (DPSA) cohort, gaining full access to our training, skills development, and talent acceleration opportunities.
