2025 Industry Day
We host the second Electrochemistry Industry Day on 26th September.
The day featured inspiring talks from leading organisations including NEXGENNA, bp International Centre for Advanced Materials, Johnson Matthey, Nyobolt, Ki Hydrogen, LiNa Energy, Ceres, Ironic Technologies, and Echion Technologies. We are grateful to all our speakers for sharing their insights and for helping to spark such engaging discussions!
We also heard from Undaunted: Tackling climate change with innovation and Imperial Enterprise, who shared exciting perspectives on translational research and pathways from discovery to impact.
Congratulations to PhD researchers Craig Burdis, Hannah Lynn, Morven Holland, and Yemin Tao for winning the poster prizes! A huge thank you to Echion Technologies for generously sponsoring these awards and supporting the event.
2022 Industry Day
The inaugural Electrochemistry Industry Day took place on 23rd September 2022.
The event was opened by Professor Mary Ryan, our Vice Provost for Research and Enterprise, who beautifully articulated the importance and strength of electrochemistry at Imperial.
The attendees were left incredibly inspired by talks from: Oxford Nanopore, Sava Health, Respire Diagnostics, RFC power, Breathe Battery Technologies, Bramble Energy, Johnson Matthey, Ceres and bp International Centre for Advanced Materials.
We would like to give a huge thanks to the incredibly generous support from bp International Centre for Advanced Materials, Ceres, Johnson Matthey, Metrohm, COMSOL and Alvatec for the poster prize and refreshments which made for a jam packed poster session.
