Opportunities
We are not currently seeking post-doctoral researchers. However, exceptional candidates are welcome to contact Dr. Málaga to discuss potential avenues of collaboration. External postdoctoral fellowship opportunites exist through the EPSRC, Royal Society, Leverhulme foundation, Royal Commission 1851, and several Home Country Programmes.
We are always pleased to hear from people interested in conducting research with us in any of the areas mentioned above.
Please note that we only consider applications from highly qualified students with a specialized MSc degree. Get in touch via email *only if* you:
- have a first-class honours (or equivalent),
- have formulated a thoughtful tentative research plan compatible with my research interests, and
- have secured or actively sought a competitive scholarship.
Competitions for funding opportunities may exist through internal and external schemes for *exceptional* applicants.
We are very happy to work with motivated and capable master and undergraduate students. We have worked with UROP placements, international exchanges, dissertations and final year projects. Highly motivated individuals with research interests outside conventional structural engineering themes are particularly welcome.
