Dr. Mahdi Boloursaz Mashhadi

Mahdi Boloursaz Mashhadi received a dual major B.S. degree (with honors) in electrical and industrial engineering in 2011 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2013 and 2018, all from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran. His research interests include different areas of signal processing and wireless communications, e.g. sparse/statistical signal processing and machine learning applications in wireless communications, biomedical signal processing and multimedia processing. He is now a member of the Intelligent Systems and Networks (ISN) research group at Imperial College. Before joining ISN, he was a research associate with the ECE department at the University of Central Florida (UCF), USA and Queens' University, ON, Canada. Dr. Boloursaz's awards include a best paper award at the EWDTS 2012 conference, and several national, regional and IEEE grants. He serves as a reviewer for IEEE transactions on signal processing, transactions on biomedical engineering and signal processing letters.
