Dr. Yixing Gao received her PhD degree in 2016. She joined the Personal Robotics Lab in September 2012. Her research is about user modelling for personalised dressing assistance by humanoid robots in a home environment. Her research interests involve assistive humanoid robots, human-robot interaction, user modelling and human pose estimation. She received her bachelor degree in Automation from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China in 2011. She entered the Special Class for the Gifted Young of Xi'an Jiaotong University at the age of 15.
