Zhengyang Shen is a PhD candidate in the Personal Robotics Lab, specializing in mobile manipulation for robotic systems. He holds a BEng in Automation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) with honored graduation, and an MSc with Distinction in Control and Optimisation from Imperial College London. His research develops deep learning frameworks that enable robots to perceive, reason about, and interact with complex environments through multimodal sensor integration and intelligent decision-making.

With expertise spanning control systems, computer vision, and neural architectures, his work emphasizes creating interpretable and robust AI systems that bridge theoretical advances with practical deployment.
