The PharmaSEL-Prosperity Programme attracts high calibre researchers from all over the world and from many different backgrounds who are looking for an opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary and collaborative research environment with a strong industry focus. We welcome applications from excellent and enthusiastic students and postdoctoral researchers. Successful PhD applicants will typically have graduated with a high First class honours degree and have research experience. Successful postdocs will have a strong publication record and proven track record in high quality research.

PhD Opportunities

We currently have a small number of PhD positions available to undertake research projects within the PharmaSEL-Prosperity Partnership. The PhD topic areas are:

Peptide synthesis under the supervision of Andrew Livingston

All successful PhD candidates will need to possess, or expect to obtain, a First Class Honours degree at Master’s level (or equivalent) in chemical engineering, another branch of engineering or a related science.    

PhD studentships cover tuition fees and an annual stipend of £17,009 for 42 months (as at October 2020).
