I’m Lulah Lyons, a graduate researcher focussing on molecular self-assembly and sequence-controlled polymerisation. My current work develops DNA strand-displacement methods into a programmable polymerisation platform for molecular sensing and recording, integrating sequence design, kinetic modelling, and benchtop validation. I earned a BSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham in 2024, and I am concluding an MRes in Bioengineering at Imperial College London in September 2025. I will continue on to an EPSRC iCASE funded PhD, co-supervised by Dr Neal Hopkins (Dstl) and Dr Thomas Ouldridge, focusing on persistent biochemical computation for sense-and-respond applications within the Ouldridge group.

Outside my research I am into cycling, rowing, and all things endurance sport related!
