The following dashboards are currently available or being developed as part of the Imperial Learning Analytics service. Depending on your role and permissions, you may have access to one or more of these dashboards within the Learning Analytics Power BI app.
Personal Tutor Dashboard
Student Profile
Purpose
The Student Profile provides a consolidated view of key student information to support operational and educational processes. It brings together programme, module and historical academic information into a single dashboard, helping authorised staff quickly access relevant student information.
Designed for
Personal Tutors, Senior Tutors and Authorised Administrative Staff
What it shows
Student information, programme details, module registrations, historical module marks, historical year marks and academic overview information.
Access
Available to authorised users within participating departments.
Personal Tutor Dashboard
Purpose
The Personal Tutor Dashboard brings together engagement, attendance, assessment and submission data to support meaningful conversations between tutors and their tutees. It provides a more holistic view of a student’s learning journey and helps tutors identify where additional academic or pastoral support may be beneficial.
Designed for
Personal Tutors and Senior Tutors.
What it shows
Student engagement, attendance trends, assessment and marks, submission history, multi-tutee overview and student summary information.
Access
Currently available to participants within pilot departments, including Aeronautics and Life Sciences.
MTD & CMD
Module Teacher Dashboard
Purpose
The Module Teacher Dashboard helps teaching staff understand how students engage with online learning resources and activities throughout module delivery. It supports teaching enhancement, curriculum review and evidence-informed decision-making by providing cohort-level insights.
Designed for
Module Leaders, teaching staff and staff involved in module design and delivery, Directors of Undergraduate Studies (DUGS) and Directors of Postgraduate Studies (DPS).
What it shows
Student engagement with Blackboard resources, Panopto activity, resource interactions, activity over time, cohort engagement trends, and most and least accessed learning resources.
Access
Available to eligible teaching staff within participating departments.
Course Monitoring Dashboard
Purpose
The Course Monitoring Dashboard provides non-identifiable insights into participation, engagement and completion across centrally delivered online learning activities. It supports course evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement while protecting student anonymity.
Designed for
Staff across Imperial, Course Owners, Learning Designers, Evaluation and Reporting Teams.
What it shows
Student enrolments, attempts, completions, completion rates, participation trends, and reporting by Faculty, Department and Programme.
Access
Available to eligible users across Imperial.
iCMD & Skills Passport
Identifiable Course Monitoring
Purpose
The Identifiable Course Monitoring Dashboard enables authorised staff to monitor participation and completion at an individual student level where follow-up may be required. It supports departments in tracking mandatory online learning activities and identifying students who may need reminders or additional support.
Designed for
Departmental Education Offices, Programme Teams and Course Administrators.
What it shows
Individual completion status, progress monitoring, enrolment tracking, completion reporting and course-specific analytics.
Access
Available upon request where there is an identified business need and appropriate approval.
Skills Passport
Purpose
The Skills Passport Dashboard supports monitoring of undergraduate Skills Passport learning activities by tracking student participation and completion across required skills-based courses. It helps programme teams identify students who may need support to complete programme requirements.
Designed for
Directors of Undergraduate Studies (DUGS), Senior Tutors, Departmental Administrators and Personal Tutors.
What it shows
Skills Passport completion, workshop and course progress, individual student progress, cohort monitoring and required course completion tracking.
Access
Access is currently limited to authorised Aeronautics staff participating in the proof of concept.
